Therapy for
Anxious  Kids

Coming of age has challenges that unfortunately have become the norm, especially in Los Angeles. Struggles like:

  • Anxiety

  • Obsessive compulsive behavior (OCD)

  • Low self-esteem

  • Body image issues

As a parent, watching your kid or adolescent struggle can feel like your heart breaking into a million pieces. This feels especially hard when you recognize some of their struggles are parallel to your own.

You want to help them but you’re not sure how. Once they get to adolescence, sometimes they just stop listening to you altogether.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

Our team helps kids by listening carefully to help them find their own voice until they can use it themselves. Depending on your kid's age, we use play or conversation as a means to help them identify, understand and cope with their feelings.

Feeling emotionally connected soothes anxiety.

When working with minors, we meet with parents first for one to two sessions in order to get to know more about your child’s developmental history. For younger children, we offer parent coaching rather than psychotherapy. For older children, we offer a combination of the two.
