Areas of Focus

Anxiety  |  ADHD  | Child  +  Adolescent Therapy I Trauma

I am a registered associate social worker ASW#125210, supervised by licensed clinical psychologist Deanie Eichenstein PsyD. I work with children through young adulthood, providing trauma-informed psychodynamic therapy. My approach is warm, compassionate, curious, and non-judgmental. I often utilize attachment theory and internal family systems as lenses to better understand your feelings and needs. My personal engagement with therapy and mindfulness practices over the course of several years greatly informs my work, and I enjoy weaving mind + body connection and nervous system regulation techniques into therapy. As a trained social worker, I value viewing people with an intersectional approach, taking into account how societal systems at large impact our sense of safety.

I believe that at our core, all of our behaviors come from a deep yearning for a sense of connection and belonging, and that connection can begin in therapy. The relationship between a therapist and client can be incredibly valuable, and can ultimately be a playground to explore your relationship with yourself and others. When safety and security exist, so can freedom and play. I have a special interest in working with anxiety, trauma and related issues.

I know starting therapy can feel daunting, but we will take things one step at a time. As a therapist, I will meet you and your child where they are with a deep presence, and feel honored to do so. Together, we explore what is going on for them internally, and what they need to feel better.
