Speaking Engagments

Harvesting her knowledge in child development as a clinical psychologist, former educator and as a parent of young children, Dr. Deanie spends time advocating and speaking on digital wellness in hopes for reform in the digital space for children. She sits on the advisory board of DopaMind Kids and is a captain in the Schools Beyond Screens organization. Most recently, she was brought in to speak at PS 58 in Brooklyn to speak about the perils of AI and children's mental health. She is passionate about educating on topics such as the harms of ed tech, AI and the impact of various screen use on developing minds.
